What excites you most about your career in architecture?
"Seeing my client’s excitement when the project is done and they have moved into the space(s).
What’s a misconception people often have about architecture?
"TV renovation shows do not fully explain the design or permitting processes. The average TV viewer believes everything can be done in 30 minutes.
Are you a morning person when it comes to creativity, or do your best ideas come at night?
"My best ideas appear at night. Most of my ideas come through design osmosis. They do not spontaneously appear but are revealed after research, discussion, and trial/error.
What is one lesson from architectural school that still shapes your work today?
"Design is more than exterior aesthetics, how a person experiences the interior will determine if your design is successful.
