Welch College | Master Plan

The master plan for Welch College's new campus in Gallatin, Tennessee, was developed to support the institution's relocation from Nashville while honoring its rich heritage and longstanding traditions. Transforming a previously undeveloped 66-acre site, the plan established a complete campus framework, infrastructure, and architectural identity from the ground up.

Inspired by Jeffersonian and Colonial American architectural traditions, the 114,000-square-foot campus is organized around a formal central quad and includes five red-brick buildings ranging from two to three stories in height. The development encompasses an administrative building, dormitories, dining and music hall, and athletic center, creating a cohesive environment that supports academic, residential, and student life functions. Designed and constructed on an accelerated schedule, the new campus was completed in time to commemorate the college's 75th anniversary.
