Renovation and Addition
Total Floor Area: 17,400 SF
Originally constructed in 1940, the historic building, formerly Littleton High School, had been closed as an educational facility since 1975 before undergoing an extensive transformation.
The building was in need of a significant renovation to once again serve as a vibrant learning environment. The design focused on preserving the character of the historic facility while creating a modern, welcoming environment for Littleton Academy’s K-8 program.
The project included a complete interior renovation with new classrooms, an updated administrative suite, and a new addition featuring a welcoming entrance and elevator. Throughout the design, original elements of the building were thoughtfully preserved, including exposed brick that celebrates the character and history of the school.
The result is a refreshed learning environment that blends the building’s historic character with modern, functional design, giving new life to a historic building while preparing it for the next generation of students.
