New High School building
Total Floor Area: 42,600 SF
Located outside Burlington, NC this rural site provides a beautiful natural setting for a new high school campus. With a capacity for 450 students, the two-story contemporary design includes classrooms, labs, dance, art, band, and an administrative suite.
The interior stadium seating commons area, corridors, and stairwells are designed with large windows. The design provides students and staff with natural light and offers beautiful views of the surrounding property throughout the building.
Interior design elements and finishes in the common areas have been thoughtfully curated to foster smaller, more intimate gathering spaces, and create a variety of different visual experiences through the building. The exterior, clad in masonry, metal, and composite wood panels, was intricately detailed to project the schools growing brand, values, and presence in the community.
